Veterans seeking compensation for health problems caused by the Camp Lejeune water contamination can now file class action lawsuits through the PACT Act. This new law gives victims of the Camp Lejeune water contamination until August 8, 2024 to file a claim. However, it is important to note that 98% of claims are for injuries that occurred more than 10 years ago. In other words, most potential Camp Lejeune water contamination lawsuits are not for current injuries, but for injuries that occurred in the past.
